Hello! I'm Kess
I'm passionate and ambitious about what I do. I love learning new design styes and want to try a little bit of everything. I started studying Graphic design at Maryville University, then learned about the wonderful challenges of Interactive design. I graduated from Maryville in May of 2018 with a BFA in Interactive design. I have done web design, graphic design, app design, game design, packaging design, magazine and layout design and much more.

Digital Graphic Designer
Create digital assets for social, web and email campaigns. Social platforms include: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest. Create animations for social media and emails. Code emails using Dreamweaver and test emails. Work within creative briefs for partner work to create a balanced mix
of the Build-A-Bear brand and partner brands.

I started studying Graphic design at Maryville University, and quickly found the gratifying challenge of interactive design. I graduated from Maryville in May of 2018 with a BFA in Interactive Design with a focus in Game Design. However, I consider myself to be a life long learner always looking for a new challenge. My portfolio has a wide range of items, including web design, graphic design, game design, packaging design, magazine and layout design and much more.

Graphic support for full-service marketing, design futures and organizational strategy agency. Conceptualized, illustrate and produce animated type, graphics, icons and infographics for a number of videos, blogs and interactive projects. Designed and produce social media ads, postcard designs, PowerPoints, reports, proposal decks, posters, print ads and other marketing materials for the agency and its clients.
Created logo animations and titles for client videos. Created 3D tracking animations for corporate videos. Assisted with custom coding blog themes with HTML and CSS. Photoshop images for use in blogs and print materials.

Editorial Designer
Designed layouts of the annual achievement book for the Maryville Wrestling Team. Assisted In editing content, utilized photos and design elements to create, update and maintain a cohesive style for three years. Created an accompanying style guide for future updates and upkeep. Worked with the printing vender to ensure print quality.

Graphic Designer Work Study
Created event identities and graphic printed works for the Martin May Gallery. Provided printing for student work on an Epson Stylus Pro 9900. Scanned materials per faculty request, and maintained technical updates and studio upkeep. Communicated with students as well as teaching them adobe programs.

Summer Teaching Assistant
Helped high school students experience college classes for two weeks. Assisted in teaching students Adobe programs and photography as well as printed their projects for their student show on the last day.
